The Base is a proud supporter of the Mental Health Foundation and Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day aims to create schools, workplaces, communities, and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion or cultural background.
Join us as we take a stand against bullying by visiting our installation outside Cotton On Kids. Take a photo and share it with us by tagging #thebasenz and you'll go in the draw to WIN 1 of 3 $100 Kiwi Property gift cards. Let's spread the message of kindness and inclusion together.
Then on Friday, 19 May, take a stand against bullying by wearing your official Pink Shirt Day tee or tote bag. You can purchase the official tote bag from Typo or the tee from Cotton On The Base. 100% of net proceeds from sales go to the Mental Health Foundation so they can raise awareness about bullying prevention, fund education workshops and supply thousands of free resources that promote inclusive workplaces, schools and communities.
