ROAD TRIP IN STYLE | THE BASE

Ah, the open road…the ultimate freedom during a holiday. There’s nothing like packing my favourite snacks (popcorn, sunflower seeds & anything with peanut butter!), some swinging tunes and a few books for a short escape.

One of my most memorable was up to Otama Bay with our friends. How gorgeous is that place?! We meandered from beach to beach, relaxed on the deck reading (all four of us are avid readers!), and stayed up too late chatting, playing loud music and corny games.

After the hustle of the holidays, it’s so nice to take some time and breathe. Gratefully, long beach walks have been on my agenda. What about you?
