HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! LOVE, THE BASE

Valentine’s Day is one of those tricky days that can be really sweet and heartfelt or feel a bit artificial. I love giving (and, let’s be honest, receiving!) gifts, so for me, the key to making it special is to put your heart into whatever you give. What does that look like? Just a little time and effort to remember (or sleuth out!) the things your Love, loves.

Whether you’re buying for your Valentine, your Galentine or another gorgeous girl in your life, go for the luxe treats she loves but often won’t buy for herself. Level up her favourite fragrance with a matching body lotion, treat her hands or let her relax with a manicure or pedicure at Classy Nails. If you’re planning flowers, think inside the box this time and create a bouquet of trending Lego blooms that will last all year. Still looking? As well as the usual suspects, think about choosing a book from her favourite author or even a special edition of one she loves (look for the most battered book on the shelf) and put a modern spin on the retro mixtape with a personalised playlist on your favourite platform.
