SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK | MOVIE REVIEW
Entertainment01 October 2019
If you are wanting scary this is def your kinda flick to watch. Its Halloween night………
After many years of stories and tales, a bunch of friends enter a house that has a reputation of being haunted BIG time. Stories of children going missing and frightening sounds coming from the walls. Stella and her friend all enter the house in a playful manner. While they are in the dark tunnel that they find, Tommy, the local troublemaker slams the door and leaves them for dead stuck in this haunted and strange house.
Stella stumbles upon a book that seems to be filled with tales and made up stories by the young girl Sarah, who had been imprisioned by her family back in the 1800’s. Stella has opened something she can’t close and when they finally break free of the tunnel, Stella takes the book home with her. Wrong move. The book starts writing its own stories individually about all the kids that were in tunnel that night. Stories that end the lives of at least 2 of Stella’s friends. They are now no longer reading the book, the book is reading them.
After several attempts to destroy the book, it keeps coming back to Stella in a way that she will never be able to get rid of. A story of confrontation, black magic, terrifying soundtrack and just plain ole nosey kids, you will enjoy a story of frightening nightmare-ish stories while trying your hardest to get to sleep.
